Terms of Use

These terms apply to everyone who uses Khetly — farmers, buyers and vendors. By creating an account you agree to them. If something here is unclear, ask us.

1. What Khetly is

Khetly is a free online marketplace that lets sellers (farmers and vendors) list goods and lets buyers make offers, bid or buy. Khetly is not a party to any sale. The contract of sale is between the buyer and the seller, and payment happens directly between them at pickup.

2. Your account

  • You must be at least 18 and give accurate information, including a mobile number you control.
  • Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
  • Farmers and vendors must complete verification before listing. We may approve or decline any application.

3. Listings

  • Only list goods you own and are able to hand over, at the quantity and quality shown.
  • Photos must be of the actual goods. Descriptions must be honest.
  • Do not list anything illegal, banned pesticides, or goods you are not licensed to sell.

4. Offers, bids and deals

  • An offer or bid is a genuine commitment to buy at that price if the seller accepts.
  • When a seller accepts an offer, or an auction ends with a winning bid, a deal is created and both sides’ phone numbers are shared so they can arrange pickup.
  • Both sides should honour the agreed price, quantity and pickup slot. Repeatedly failing to do so may lead to suspension.
  • Inspect the goods at pickup. Any dispute about quality or quantity is between buyer and seller, though we will help where we can.

5. Fees

Khetly is free. We charge no listing fees, commission or subscription. If that ever changes, we will tell you well in advance and nothing will be charged without your clear agreement.

6. Behaviour

Treat others with respect. No harassment, fraud, fake listings, fake bids, or attempts to get around verification. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these terms.

7. Liability

We work hard to keep Khetly accurate and available, but we provide it “as is”. To the extent the law allows, Khetly is not liable for the goods traded, for losses arising from a deal between users, or for interruptions to the service.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Kolkata, West Bengal have jurisdiction, subject to any rights you have under consumer protection law.
